Today I got a very nice compliment by the Director of the Library. It came from her via my Supervisor. Apparently in the break room the department heads and the Director were chatting and the Director said, "The only one who really watches the circulation desk is Sue." She feels no one else amongst the employees in the Adult Department is very good at keeping an eye on the circulation desk which is the number one task in our job descriptions. Cool eh? I promise I won't turn into a smug twit. Really! It won't go straight to my head and make me conceited. I will still speak to you if you like. In any case, it really did make me feel good.
Ben has informed me he has a cold. Hope he keeps it to himself. I haven't had a cold for over three years and am going for my personal best! Poor Ben.
Today's interesting fact:
- A person with a common cold may produce 20,000 droplets in a single sneeze and,
- Sneeze droplets travel about 3 feet Gads! Get me an umbrella!!~Sue
