This morning, Andy and I went to the Presbyterian church. Not only did we sing many Christmas Carols along with the pipe organ but had some giggles at the same time. The children's Christmas program had humorous bits that weren't supposed to be but the "best" part was the children's bell choir. They played bells along with recorded music. NONE of the kids had any sense of rhythm and were basically just randomly ringing their little bells. It was laughably atrocious! The funniest thing was, they played two songs! One could be forgiven, nearly cute even. But two? Unforgivable! Oh, wait... we were in church so I guess it was forgivable after all. Good on them then! Over all a good time.
We got Subway for lunch and I set about cleaning. Just did bathrooms and the "guest" room today. Will do the vacuuming tomorrow. Then off to Mom's to hang out with her and my brother Bill and have dinner with them. Christmas dinner will be here with Mom, Bill, Jim and his wife Carol, Rachel, Nathan, Ben, Andy, and Dennis. We will have fun. Mom is making potato soup and I'm making Spanakopita, which is Greek Spinach Pie. There will be cheese, bread, raw veg, and afters! Andy is making a triple chocolate cake with cherries on top. Jim is making a cranberry dessert. We will be full and happy.

It sounds like you had a lovely Sunday! Carol headed over to her Mom's in the morning so's she could help her get ready for the holiday. I stayed home and puttered about ... then had to head off for my half-day at work! Looking forward to seeing you all Christmas Day. -- James "Yule" G.
Our cats here at not nearly as rambunctious. Buddy sleeps nearly all day, sometimes on top of people, and Fredo wanders in and out of the house, eating all the way.
