Schools are closed. Library is open. *sigh*

We got 6" of snow overnight Saturday and into Sunday morning. Wow! Beautiful!

Saturday night, Ben had a party here in the Troll cave. There were 8 guys here until about 2:00 A.M. During a break they all went outside and somebody threw a snowball. A snowball war insued. Later, during another break they threw more snow around. I
think they all had fun. Thankfully nobody got stuck in the driveway or anything and got home safely.

Sunday the four of us just stayed home. The brothers slept until noon because of the party whilst Dennis and I had late breakfast and coffee whilst reading the newspaper. Enjoyable morning. I made toasted cheese sandwiches and tomato soup for lunch and afterward the three of them shoveled snow and I cleaned the house. Sometimes my dodgy back doesn't take well to shoveling heavy snow. Good excuse that! So I sorted the house inst
ead. I made more coffee and some hot chocolate for the guys.

Andy wanted to bake a cake. He had never done before. Here is the end result! Wow!

He's even going to share! Hurrah! It is chocolate with chocolate frosting and 3 types of shaved chocolate on top. The white bits are globs of white icing with pecans and almonds on them. Yum! Excellent for a beginner! Actually excellent for an expert! Bravo Andy!

Supper was frozen pizza. Not that great but hot and easy. In the evening we watched "Animal House." Hadn't seen it for quite awhile.

Today all but Andy are off to work. I was hoping Library would close but, no such luck.

Today's interesting fact: It's just over a week until Christmas! Not that interesting but a fact never the less! ~Sue
