Today I put the first coat of finish on a new, unfinished red oak floor. I felt a bit like Harold and the Purple Crayon. It was truly magical watching the color and wood grain just "pop" out in brilliant beauty! It was actually fun doing the first coat because of the magical effect. Wow!
