Sunday, we began work on The Troll Cave. We are trying to de-troll it. Or is it un-troll it? The Troll, a.k.a. Ben, has moved out but left mass carnage in his wake. We began in a corner and got part way ’round. Ben then showed up and all work stopped. He needs boxes he says. He also has a large Troll fish to move. The fish is actually an Oscar, and as big as a dinner plate, though I wouldn’t eat him.
The Oscar (Troll fish a.k.a. "Scar") is in a 55 gallon tank. Ben needs to move him. Eventually. First he must take “stuff” out of the cave. He has his own house and storage building but he works long hours and barely has time to be bothered. We are hopeful our gentle prodding will get him to moving things. We will see what happens. Meanwhile, we will do what we can to clean things up. Thus far we have not found anything too unsavory. The worst has been the odd dirty sock, bits of old candy sprinkled with mouse droppings, dirty dishes from long ago, pistachio shells strewn hither and yon. The last of the beer and soda cans have been collected and several 2 ltr. bottles have been recycled. It is getting better. Not sure we will ever be completely de-trolled but we will continue to try.

Good job! Hmm, Scar does kind of resemble a troll...
