Well earned rest

Today I personally moved about this many books. Truly! I am "in charge" of our Library's Fiction room. Once per month I spend most of my work day in that room "shifting", "pulling", and cleaning in that room. Today I moved nearly every book in there. The shelves were an absolute mess. They were also too full. I went methodically around the room pulling books to send to our storage building, cleaning off the shelf, and moved books around so they are evenly spaced on the shelves and in good alphabetical order. It is very satisfying for somebody with borderline OCD to do this task. I actually enjoy it. But... I'm completely knackered! I got sweaty, dirty, and some of my sorry muscles are sore. I also took the Library's recycling to the recycling center on my way home. I earned every miserable penny of my pay today.

I went to lunch at the local Chinese restaurant with Library's Director and Clerk. I ate "Happy Family." ( No, not A happy family!) I also got Won Ton soup and hot tea. Tonight for dinner I was alone so made Soba noodles in chicken broth with bits of rotisserie chicken mixed in. Very good and comforting. Ate butter pecan ice cream for dessert. Now I need a shower and then I will watch "House MD" and/or "Castle" Online. Hey! It's good to have plans, isn't it?
