Here I am at work again. Hardly seems like it should be Monday already but alas, it is!
Nothing special to report except we have 3 kittens that showed up at our place. We don't know where they came from but suspect someone may have dumped them off. They arrived Friday sometime. This morning there was only one and he seemed quite miserable; cowering and crying, looking around as though watching for the others or perhaps his mother. Very sad. I could stand by no longer and took food and water out to the patio. He ate for quite awhile and then went out in the ground cover and slept. He wouldn't let me near. If he stays around and we can catch him we will take him to the "no kill" cat shelter where we got Fred and Bofur. If I cannot catch him he can live outside I suppose, although I hate that. The woods is a great place for outdoor cats to live because it is fairly safe but I hate seeing cats outdoors in the winter. We will wait to see what happens.
Other than that, things are statice quo. That is good I think because unlike many, I fairly like routine. Guess it's my OCD showing through!
Today's interesting fact:
Q.
How many nuclear power plants are in operation worldwide?
A.
According to the IAEA there are 438 operating nuclear power plants and 104 in the United States.
