Food fest!

Had a grand day out today. Denny and I went to church and then drove into the Toledo to a Syrian/Lebanese food festival! It was at St. George's Antiochian Orthodox Church. We arrived before the live entertainment began but they were serving food and it was brilliant! Also had baklava. Buttery and delicious! Just as we were leaving a 3-man band began to entertain with awesome music. After the food we went to a bookstore and to an The Anderson's food department. Went home and had pita bread we had bought with olives, apples, and white wine. Spent the evening reading. Rest full and enjoyable day. Andy didn't go along because he had a lie-in and then had a friend over. He wondered why we didn't bring him any delicious leftovers. There were no leftovers!

Interesting fact:
Olive oil is sunshine captured in food, eating it provides your body with health.

Who knew olive oil was so poetic? ~ Sue
