Ben got a big promotion! He hadn't gotten a call from the railroad and he was feeling down about that. This morning he got called back to work (just after he had got to bed) and was given a promotion! Not only that, he is going to the day shift!! Hurrah for Ben! It is truly a God-thing! Ben is ecstatic!
Sunday, whilst Andy had a lie-in, Denny and I went to church, to lunch, and to see "The Bourne Ultimatum!" Really great film! Follows the other two so if you haven't seen those yet, do so before seeing this one. It will make it all the better.
I was officially offered more hours at Library. Hurrah! It will start November 1st. Glad for that.
Today's interesting fact:
While the first two films have only strayed from the original story, the word on the street is that the plot in The Bourne Ultimatum will bear virtually zero resemblance to that in the novel. So...like Jason Bourne, does the third film not know who/what it is? Hardly! It knows it's another spy/thriller/blockbuster!
