Today is the only today there is....

I went to a funeral this morning. It made me sad, tired, and melancholy. The deceased was the wife of a former work partner of Denny's. She was only 50.

Denny baked Ben's cake and I will soon frost it. I am making pork tenderloin, gnocchi with creamy pesto sauce, and salad for dinner to go with the cake. This is the last meal the four of us will have together for awhile. Andy leaves for school Sunday. Ben and I will take him there while Denny works.

Today's interesting fact: In Italian, gnocchi is the plural of gnocco, which literally means "lump". Mmmmmm......lumps for dinner. Sounds delicious, yes? ~Sue

Hope the moving goes ok tomorrow!

I've never had gnocchi before... is it just a different shape of pasta or is that the stuff with potatoes in it?
