The other thing that went all wrong yesterday.

After my disappointing trip to Dentist yesterday, I came home and started the washing. I put the first load in the dryer and began the second load in the washer. Hmmmm...... I smelled burning rubber! Hurried into the laundry room and the dryer had stopped and would not start up again. I think it has met an untimely demise. At first I thought it was probably a broken belt (hence the burnt rubber smell) but since the motor won't run, it is probably dead. Brilliant. So I finished all of the washing and this morning (Friday) I will take the whole lot into town to the coin laundry and dry it there. My life is just one horror after another! (lol)

Today's interesting fact:
The coin laundry industry is approximately 50 years old, and is primarily composed of individual owner/operators. No significant franchises are in operation at this time. Currently, there are around 35,000 coin laundries in the United States, generating several billion dollars in gross revenue annually.

I'm just glad they exist. Otherwise I'd have to hang the wet stuff all over the house and nobody really wants to watch clothing drying. That's what paint is for! ~Sue
