I need to decorate the tree. It took me a good part of the morning to assemble the bloody thing and next come the lights. I have to test them, untangle them, (oh please don't let them be broken or tangled), and get them on the giant tree. Then will come the ornaments. Really don't like deciding which ones to use and where to place them. It is a temptation to close my eyes and just toss them at the tree and leave them where they land. Of course there is a risk of breakage. I may be willing to risk it. Bofur, the butterscotch colored cat has already climbed the tree. It would probably be safer to just put lights on and no ornaments. I rather like that look anyway. I'll give it some thought.
Today's interesting fact:
Conditions at a fake tree factory recently drove thousands of Chinese workers to go on strike, protesting the long working hours and unfair employment practices.
They've probably been inhaling too much of that lead based paint! Hope our tree isn't coated with it! ~Sue
