This is what I did all day Friday and Dennis did all day Saturday. We primed the ceilings, walls, and floors in the two bedrooms and hall at Ben's house. It is exhausting work when you are not used to it. We were both left with white "freckles" on every exposed part of our bodies and of course on our glasses. This week we hope to get the kitchen primed. After that we will begin painting which is the bit I like best. The living room needs the most work and will be last done. We also need to clean, prime, and paint the basement stairwell which had mold growing on it but has dried nicely since the heat is on. Ben has been doing the wall pre-washing with a phosphate cleaner which removes grease, mold, and dirt and then he rinses the walls afterward. Dennis is working on the interior doors which had been badly scratched and gnawed on by pit bulls. (no joke) The project is moving nicely now but as I said the living room is the biggest job. The replacement window will hopefully be installed this week and the neighbor is going to come and repair bits of the wall and ceiling and Ben will put in the new chimney. At that point it will be ready to clean, prime, and paint. Whew! Makes me almost tired just thinking about it!
There is no interesting fact today. I don't have time to look one up! ~Sue
