Yesterday was such a weird day, it made me feel unusual. One coworker took the day off, one spent the morning in the emergency room because of low blood sugar and dehydration, another had a doctor's appointment, whilst yet another came to work with influenza and left at midday! Such a bizarre day! Things mostly righted themselves by 2:30 but it was "unusual" none the less.
Here in America, today is Income Tax Filing Deadline Day. (ITFDD) Public Libraries provide free tax forms for the public. Last night there was a steady stream of people getting tax forms until we closed at 8:30 P.M. What are people thinking? Tonight the post office will probably extend their hours as well to accommodate the procrastinators. I call that enabling. America is full of enablers. I'm sort of one myself. Sad, that.
