Sorry this has taken so long. I keep forgetting!
- In my lifetime (so far) I've lived in 14 different homes.
- I've been on TV twice. I've been on radio once. I also performed in a singing trio at a "drive-in worship" service at a campground. If they liked your song, they honked their car horns. Really!
- Jobs I've held since I was 18 years old: House Cleaner (1 month), Airport office girl (3 months), Factory worker (3 months), Florist (5 years), Bookkeeper/Bank Teller/Head Teller (5 years), Full Time Stay at Home Mom (12 years), Teacher's aid/tutor (3 years), Job Trainer (4 years), Parent Mentor for the State of Ohio (4 years), Director of Private Corporation - which was a bit like being the Queen - only a title (1 1/2 years), Library Assistant/Head of Inter Library Loan Dept. (4 years so far.)
- Hobbies: Home Decor, Sewing, Crochet, Playing Piano and guitar, Embroidery, Quilting/Applique, Reading, Candle Making, Soap Making, Gardening, Writing, Blogging.
- Aspirations: (in my lifetime since very young) Entertainer (song and dance & acting), Photographer, Artist, Psychologist, Writer.
- If I was in college today, I would probably go into something involving Ecology. I am an avid recycler and am angered with what has happened the the Earth.
If I could tag these people, I would:
- Jim
- Bill
- Dee
- Dave & Peggy
- Katie
- Irene (a.k.a. Grandma)
Come to think of it, Dee, Dave & Peggy, Jim, and Katie could all do this list as a comment on either of our blogs!!
Do it!

Thanks for doing this thing! For some reason I really like doing/reading them even if they're done by someone I know :P
OK here's my 6 things
1. I was a 20 year honoree at our recognition dinner this week. In that time I've called in sick twice.
2. When I was in eigth grade, I promised my science teacher that I'd invite him to Rod and I's wedding. Eight years later I did, and he came, and gave us a pewter vase that matches my new kitchen wonderfully.
3. I once told a family in error that their mother was dead. Part of my job is handling all the deaths. The family of Mrs. So-and-so-inski had just left, when I got a call from the nurse at the triage desk in ER that their was more family here for Mrs. So-and-so-inski. So I proceded to take them into the quiet room, asked them if they were MRS. So-and-so's family and then told them the bad news. Then I asked if the nursing home had called them....and they said she came in from home! Come to find out a second Mrs. So-and-so-inski had just come in by squad, and we didn't have her name in the system yet so no one knew. I did some major MAJOR appologizing. The two families were related. The family was very nice and they ended up comforting me! Suffice it to say I ALWAYS use first and last names now!
4. I love to cook. If I can spend a day in the kitchen I'm happy. (By the way Sue, I love my breadmaker! I've almost used up a 25lb bag of bread flour that I got in Aug)
5. I love my kids. I'm off to sit in the cold rain to watch Otsego get killed and Ryan freeze standing on the side line. It's Kayla's last band show too, but they probably won't let them on the field if it's all muddy.
Dee
Oops I forgot #6
6. My loving brother and sister named me. Mom used to say that she thought it was too little of a name for such a big baby. No one every believes that Dee is my real name. They all think it's short for something.
