This is a snap of some of our dinner ware. It is Knowles "Tulip Time" china. The plates (8 of them) were purchased at GoodWill for a total of $4.00 for the set of 8. Currently, on Ebay, they may be purchased by the piece for $6.50 plus shipping costs! I can't find a date of manufacture anywhere on the Internet, so far. From what I've read though, I'd put the date in the 1960s.
The flatware is Providence “Elegance” stainless. It is nearly impossible to find. I found some on Ebay, again, which I’m trying to get ‘hold of. It’s hard to find and is often about $5 per piece!! We found ours in a camping trailer my Aunt gave us.
I reckon if I can’t use the stuff I have, I don’t want it. In other words, I don’t buy retro stuff just to have it. I use it.

I really like those plates a lot! They're classy but really fun.
