I promised Katie a photo of my vintage library chair. I actually have 2 chairs like this, a matching 2 seat sofa, and a cocktail table, all from the library where I work. They are probably from the late 60s early 70s. I think they are awesome.
See? Similar style to your Craig's list find, n'est pas? With mine though, the upholstered seat and seat back are attached to the frame, and the frame is not as elegant. The style, however, is very similar I think. Mine are all in shades of orange/burnt orange/reddish vinyl. I think they are cool. AND... I only paid $75 for the lot! That's right! Four pieces of vintage furniture for only $75. They look great in front of the fireplace and don't eat up the space in our den.

love it! i'm very jealous that you have a complete set though, i need to keep looking... i love the color of the upholstery. the shape is similar to the one i found, you're right. i like how they have great clean lines. i haven't seen that exact style before, thanks for sharing the photo!
