The time finally arrived to assemble the new Christmas tree. I had plenty of help as you will soon see.
First, the instructions:
Gosh! Who knew an artificial tree could be so complicated? I’ll just lay this aside then, and just sort the lot out myself. I’ve done this before you know!
Good start, yeah? I got the stand, “trunk” and top on alright. See? Bofur is ready to help! By the tilt of his ears, he is offended by the tree. It does look a bit sad. Not to worry young lad. I will put the rest of the branches on!
Close inspection.
What? This can’t be right! It looks awful! Must have forgotten a step. I’ll just glance at the instructions then.
Oh, ummm… I knew that!
Fred looks at me in disbelief. He does possess a superior intellect after all.
“Have you got this set in the stand properly?” (Bofur inspects the tree stand)
Ah. Now THAT’S better! Looking good, yeah?
Bofur thinks so as well. Sigh…
