Coffee? Tea? Biscuit perhaps?

My kettle has had it.  It’s done for.  It’s got rust spots on the INSIDE.  The current one is red.  That’s actually why I bought that particular kettle.  It looked good.  If you don’t look too closely, it still looks good.  But now it’s time for a new one.   I decided to get an electric kettle this time.  The one I chose holds 1.7 liters and is black.  I tried it out and it boils the 1.7 liters in 6 minutes! BOILS in 6 minutes!!  It shuts off automatically.  Since I was buying it from the English Tea Store, I also purchased some biscuits/cookies.  Of course I took photos:

New, super-fast, kettle.

It is “cordless” in that it sits on a base that plugs into the electric service and the kettle lifts off of the base and can be set on any surface.

I also ordered a cute little gadget for my tea pot.  It’s called a “drip catcher.”  The one I bought is a Ladybug! It looks really cute on my Brown Betty:

As always, click on the photo to enlarge it.  I just know you’ll want to see the ladybug close up.  Come on.  You know you want to!  Nobody will know.
