Making progress

I’ve taken advantage of some vacation time to make some real progress on my kitchen cabinet project.  We started the week by borrowing my dad’s truck & trailer and picking up a load of oak plywood to build the cabinet boxes.

Once I had the plywood in the shop I could actually start making cabinets! 

Even though my week of vacation is nearly over and I only have two cabinet boxes assembled (the two easiest !) I still feel pretty good about my progress because much of my time has been spent figuring out details so the other cabinets should, in theory, go together more quickly and easily…

“Only” ten more boxes to go – then face frames and doors and drawers and finish and etc and etc…

See – I’m almost done!
