Oh man!

Last night I watched 3 episodes of Monk from season 3. Really great stuff. The discs continue to have sporadic problems though which hampers some of the viewing pleasure but still really fun. Also ate a big bowl of popcorn. I've been rather piggy lately and must stop if I want my clothes to continue to button!

Today I worked until noon. I had a small victory in my takeover of the Interlibrary Loan department and that made my day brighter. I also cataloged magazines for a coworker because she hadn't had the time yesterday. Good work day over all. Went to lunch with the Director, the Clerk Treasurer, my current Supervisor and my future Supervisor. We ate at Big Boy which is what I will be if I don't stop stuffing my gob with fast foods! I ate a 1/4# hamburger with fries and a soda! Then for dinner the boys and I got Pizza Hut pizzas! Gads! Must stop!!

I'm about to start watching Monk for the evening. Have to stay at it because of the short due date. Wish I had longer. Ah well. At least I got to borrow it.

Today's interesting fact:

In the movie Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, Dr. Evil and his cat Mr. Bigglesworth make their escape in a cryogenic rocket that is the shape of a statue of Big Boy. Additionally, an alternate ending to the film which was scrapped to allow for a sequel had the Big Boy rocket crash back to Earth due to a malfunction, with Dr. Evil suffering amnesia as a result and subsequently becoming the night manager of a Big Boy restaurant in El Segundo, California.

Good that the lad (Big Boy) found work outside of holding up that giant burger. His arm must get bloody tired.
