Sunday, the rest of the day....

OK, so after church, which is all I wrote about yesterday, I went to the supermarket to get fruit and yogurt and then picked up take away from Kentucky Fried Chicken for Ben and me. After lunch Ben drove his huge red neck pickup truck to his cousin Mark's house to get a free stove that works except for two burners. You see Ben is trying to fix up his Great Grandparent's house to live in, but I will write about that as it progresses. Anyway, being the good child, (really I am!!) I called my Mom and told her I would be coming over for a visit to tell her about my trip to Kentucky and all the various gossip about family and friends. It was a glorious day for a drive so I opened the moon/sun roof (see previous blog) and the windows, cranked up the tunes and drove the 20 miles to my Mom's, sort of hot rodding whilst accelerating from each stop sign. Great fun. Drove in Mom's driveway just before she did. She'd been at a baby shower. She was very glad to see me. So I was telling her my brother Jim had written in his blog that he'd been sick. Well she went all into a tizzy about why anybody would want to write a blog and tell everybody about their personal thoughts and feelings and complain about how they feel. I didn't really tell her I have a blog as well. Thought it would just lead to more explaining than I wanted to do. Showed Mom the pics on the camera and we talked quite awhile. Then, off I went, tunes booming, sun shining through the moon roof (?) back home and made hamburgers on the grill. Had them along with baked beans and cottage cheese. Dennis and Ben were both here so that was sort of nice.

Dennis and I are watching through a mini series from the 80's called Shogun. It is based very closely on James Clavell's book by the same name. After you get past the lame music, it is really quite interesting and fun to watch. I reckon we are about half way through it. I also should be receiving the 4th season of Monk either today or Wednesday.

Today's interesting fact:

HOUSE STARTS TOMORROW NIGHT!! 'nuff said! See you around the TV! ~Sue
