Today the weather was so delightful, I open many windows including the ones in the upstairs bedrooms. I did the sweeping, washing, and was generally wearing myself out. I walked past the patio door and noticed a large window screen leaning up against the house. Dennis hadn't been cleaning screens, in fact, I knew that screen hadn't been there earlier. None of the screens on that side of the house is that big except the ones upstairs. I ran up the stairs and into the back bedroom and the window was nearly closed. I could hear a faint mewing sound and opened the window to look out at the narrow roof below. Fred was staring back at me. He didn't look afraid but also clearly wanted back inside. I tried leaning out the window to grab him. (No. Not in a dangerous way. Do you think I'm THAT stupid?) I could touch Fred but he thought I was just petting him. So I held the window open and told him to jump in. He did and I slammed the window shut and locked it. Stupid cat. He's done it before. Several times. I just feel fortunate he hasn't fallen to the patio below. It's cement.

Haha, that would happen to Fred.
A true escape artist, that cat! Nice shot of him in the bucket. -- JG
